So what exactly is the reason behind this
date being considered so bad?
The olden day traditions states that Jesus Christ was crucified on Friday and there were 13 guests present at the last supper, some theories also suggest that the crucifixion itself was held on the 13th date of Nisan.
According to the French there was a mass arrest and execution of the Knights Templar began on Friday the 13th in the 13th century. Another famous belief is that a witches coven contains 13 members.
The Zoroastrian calendar predicted chaos in the 13th millennium and so the number 13 has made it difficult for people to take any business or personal decisions on these days.
All the above reasons have led people to believe that anyone with 13 letters in their name is a cursed person and that 13 is a bad omen, 13th falling on a Friday is considered even worse and people normally avoid these days when they want to buy a house, a car or step into something new such as a marriage a job etc.
